Chardonnay

Chardonnay is a dry white wine of quite good structure, fine and elegant, made with one of the most important white grape vines varieties in the world.

Widespread worldwide, Chardonnay comes from a Burgundy vine, that has found a favorable soil for its production in the Friuli Region.
It's grown with the single-arched cane training system and grapes are harvested by hand in the second decade of September. Part of the wine ages in steel barrels and part in tonneaux, followed by two months in the bottle.

Made with one of the most important white grape vines varieties in the world, Chardonnay has a straw yellow colour, with shades of gold sometimes. It has fruity aromas, that recall apples or acacia flowers. The taste is balanced and refined, with an excellent acidity.
It can be sipped as an aperitif or paired with appetizers, fish or egg dishes.

Serve at 10-12 °C.
